Ron Hamm brings more than three decades of federal advocacy experience to Strategics Consulting, where he serves as Senior Advisor, leading federal government relations for public-sector clients. He has represented cities, counties, colleges and universities, and other public institutions before Congress and federal agencies, helping them secure significant federal appropriations, authorizations, and competitive grant awards while navigating complex legislative, regulatory, and administrative priorities. Ron has a proven record in higher-education advocacy, helping institutions secure more than $40 million in federal funding for initiatives such as cybersecurity, research and development, and transportation infrastructure. He has extensive experience representing universities, including HBCUs and community colleges, and brings a deep understanding of the federal funding landscape across institutions of all sizes. A native of eastern North Carolina, Ron earned a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MBA from Virginia Tech.
