Amy Kirschbaum, Government Affairs and Legislative Specialist

Amy KirschbaumStrategics Consulting is excited to announce the addition of Amy Ward Kirschbaum to the legislative team. Amy first began her career on Capitol Hill where she worked as a legislative aide in the office of the late Congressman E. Clay Shaw, Jr. from Florida. She also was primary staff for the U.S. Congressional Sunbelt Caucus, a bipartisan coalition of 150 Southerners in the House of Representatives. Her primary issues were the environment, energy and transportation.

Amy and Leslie first started working together in 1988 when Leslie was hired to be the Congressman’s receptionist. They have been friends ever since, with Amy even traveling all the way from Oregon to attend Leslie’s South Florida wedding to husband Hank in 1999. “In life you meet people where you have an opportunity to help change their lives, and then you meet people who help change yours. Amy is definitely the latter, and I could not be happier to have the joy of working with her again,” said Leslie Mozingo, owner and CEO of Strategics Consulting.

In 1992, Amy left DC and moved west to Oregon where she continued her career in public affairs with jobs in the state transportation department and with a regional government, working on parks and open spaces issues.
